Missing Episodes showing items marked as "Lock this item to prevent future changes"

Couldn't find this issue, but since 4.9.3.0 all shows marked as "Lock this item to prevent future changes" show up in Metadata Manager -> Views -> Missing Episodes. 
Before we could mark shows as "Locked" and this would also prevent the Missing Episodes section from showing episodes from these locked items.

Since the update this doesn't seem to be the case, eventhough there doesn't seem to be a mention of it in the changelog.

Toggling the locked state from true to false a couple of times and saving does seem to hide the show from the Missing Episodes overview, but not always.
Is this a bug or a new feature somehow?

Hi, it was a defect before that locked shows weren’t appearing there. There is no relationship between locking and missing.

I can imagine someone having the newer seasons of Family Guy, but not the older ones. The sames goes for other long-runners like Bold and the Beautiful or South Park.

How can we prevent incomplete shows from filling up the Missing Episodes section now? Is there another way to make them "skip in missing episodes"?

There currently is no way, but yes I can see how that would be helpful.

I really like the Missing Episodes feature but when it's clogged up with thousands of entries I wouldn't (or can't) get my hands on it kind of loses it's purpose. 

Previously we could skip the locked items so that only new / recent / missing would show up in the overview which is extremely useful. I don't know if there's a feature request yet for this, could we move this thread to the Feature Requests if another one doesn't already exist?

Cool. The Missing Episodes feature is pretty awesome for shows that are still running and I use it regularly to know what to update, but now I have more than 3000 results since locking doesn't work anymore so I've lost it all oversight.

Can you maybe move this to Feature Requests?

I would suggest creating a new topic asking for a way to exclude a series from missing episodes. There should be a dedicated way rather than simply associating it with the lock.
