Jrod696 28 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 (edited) Amazingly enough this past 2 weeks I have had 3 people fall asleep and or fall asleep and then go to work when watching a series and it just played and played and played. On the server side I had the "Are you still watching" turned on in their user profile under playback but it does not appear to send to the client. In all 3 cases I had to contact them to go in and go to Settings > Playback > Are you still watching, and enable it. It would be amazing if in the clients this could enabled by default and or the setting in the user profile on the server overrode that setting. Honestly I would prefer the latter because I personally can't think of a reason why I would ever want a user to be able to turn that off. Edited December 31, 2025 by Jrod696
Luke 42077 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Hi, it should be on by default. What client did you test with?

Perhaps @ebrcan change that. So yes that one will require setting up. 1
Solution ebr 16169 Posted December 31, 2025 Solution Posted December 31, 2025 Yes, the option was first implemented in that app so it is a local preference at this point but I had thought we were keeping that option as a local device/app-specific setting. All the others are sharing one setting? I did just change the default to ON. 1

Next update. And it's only the default that is changing, thus it likely won't affect users who have already configured options in the app. 1
