Specifying metadata fields to not download / Removing community & critic ratings

I'd like to remove the community and critic ratings from my libraries but I'm not sure how to do this. I've looked around and so far it seems like it'd involve removing them for each movie/show/episode and then locking the field via the metadata manager. Is there a better way to do this?

Ideally, I'd like to just not display the field on the client app (it can still download to the nfo) but if I have to remove the metadata itself that's fine too.

Currently there is no options to not display this info or options to not this info from provider.

Only option beside the manual option you mentioned would be something like TMM that has these options to rewrite your nfo files and lock them
