Hi,

Please check my screenshot. I just wonder why Emby transcode. I attach the logs. The same thing arrive with hevc (8 bit or 10 bit) files.
However, it was never transcode before. At first I thought the problem was the internet connection, but the modem was restarted a few times just to be sure.
I don't know if the reason is the new update or not, but pleaese check.

Happy new year!

Thank you for your fast reply. All was set to auto in app by default.
But let me check again.

All is auto in settings. I put here another screenshot and the logs. This time is write "Reduce bitrate due to the quality settings..."

Thank you and happy new year to all!

Well, try setting in-app quality to some fixed numerical value higher than the bitrate of the item you're trying to play (in your example, >4 Mbps), like: "1080p - 10 Mbps" (or any other quality of your preference) and see how does that compare.

Sorry for the last reply. All settings was to "Auto" in LG app.
I changed to "1080p - 10 Mbps" as you advised me and it works without transcode! Wow!

Thank you so much!

I just wonder, why it happened? I mean with settings to "auto" all was perfectlly functional for a long time.

Hi, if you find that auto is too conservative then then the quality setting is there for you to raise it.
