Mayfly777w 3 Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 I’m using a mixed library — could this be the reason? All my other movies and shows display correctly; only this single movie is shown incorrectly. Another issue makes me even more confused: when I click Edit Metadata on this page, other titles provide very detailed options, but this particular movie has very limited options. Was it identified as a standalone folder? I feel that the metadata editing page should look like this under normal circumstances, but in reality, I have to first open this movie from the folder view and then click Edit for it to work properly. Is there any way to resolve this issue? Or should I consider creating a separate media library specifically for movies? I’d rather not do that if possible.
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 25, 2025 Solution Posted December 25, 2025 Recent change removing a collapse folder layer on movies as movie items contain the info not the folder. Unlike TV where the Series folder contains the info. There are several topics on this change and the unliked side effects of this true folder hierarchy layer. There is a change in beta to readd this legacy collapsed view but currently only applies to Mixed Content.
Mayfly777w 3 Posted December 26, 2025 Author Posted December 26, 2025 10 hours ago, Happy2Play said: 最近有个改动,去掉了电影上的折叠文件夹图层,因为电影项目只包含信息而不是文件夹。不像电视,系列文件夹里会有信息。 关于这一变化以及真实文件夹层级层带来的不良副作用,有多个话题。 测试版中有一项变更,将重新添加这个遗留的折叠视图,但目前仅适用于混合内容。 Thank you for your help! I think I’ve managed to resolve it now. My English isn’t very good, which makes it difficult for me to search for possible duplicate issues. I really appreciate your patience!
