user84 46 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Attempting to create Back to the Future Collection - ironically the same as the help doc info for Emby Collections. When I do so, it creates the collection but doesn't pull artwork. I have all metadata sources checked in the library settings and enabled "Import collection information from metadata downloaders." I also tried "Back to the Future Collection." Separately, (or maybe related), after the recent serve update my metadata sources/image fetchers were unchecked. I had to go back in and check them again. Not sure if this is related? Either way, they are checked now, and I can't create a collection.

When you say attempting to create, are you trying to manually create a collection rather than just refreshing the individual movies metadata and allowing Emby to create it for you?

Yes. I don't do automatically created collections
Luke 42077 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 What fetchers are enabled on the collections library?

Suliamu 36 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 (edited) I've got the same problem. Tried to create a "Saw Collection", but it doesn't work. It creates the collection, but without any metadata or images. Not by searching it under "identify" (no search results), and also not by manually adding the tmdb-collection-id. The TMDB-API for movies is working perfectly so it looks like the tmdb-plugin got a (recent) problem with collections. Edit: I found that in the library-settings for collections all metadata-providers besides nfo were deactivated. This must have happened during the last emby-update. It's now fixed. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Did checking all the boxes solve that problem for you and can you make collections now? Edited December 14, 2025 by user84

That was it! Didn't even think to look there for some reason. Any idea why all of these got disabled in the last update? 1
GrimReaper 4739 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Nope, but it wasn't as uncommon occurrence on last server update. Anyway, glad you've got it sorted. 1
