I've attached 2 zip files, one that reproduces the stuttering, one that doesn't. For the one that doesn't, it looks like the app is transcoding the content which doesn't seem to happen for the problematic one. Logs were taken after a restart of Emby.

Hi, we are looking into it. Thanks.

Hi, we'll have a new play store build up soon. Thanks.

HI, have you updated to Emby for android 3.5.28? has that helped?

This is still happening with Emby for Android 3.5.30. Movie stutters with choppy playback but the ATV app is smooth, but it causes the server to transcode.

The same file plays fine on my honor magic v3 phone in the android app so it looks to be device related.

Sounds like that's what is necessary on that device.  Can we please see the ffmpeg log from that playback?

Okay, I figured it was something like this.  The video profile (High 10) is not supported on the device.  The standard app may be attempting to use ffmpeg to render it and the CPU just can't quite handle that.

OK that makes sense. I can either cast from my phone as that works fine or use the ATV app amd live with the transcoding. Thanks!
