Hello, since 3.5.15 beta, I am experiencing distorted playback of FLAC audio. It sounds like a bunch of white noise with barely audible high-pitched voices. It doesnt happen to every video with FLAC, only certain ones. Let me know exactly what I need to provide to Debug this.

I have the exactly same issue since my playstore decided to update emby for Android.

I also have no clue why this was released to public? It is unuseable. This took an hour out of my daytrip.

Forums not helpful at all, i want to go on my day trip and listen to my music with the Software i paid for, not fix the issue.

I know how to contribute, i know the value of good written Tickets and MRs. And still a solution should be provided first for those who simply can not.

Can de please have a mirror for old APKs?

Same for me few days ago launched emby server, was happy about how things work and especially how they look, paid money. And today suddenly most of my music in android app sounds distorted, crackling. In browser everything is fine but i am using it to listen music in car.

So now rolled back to Version: 3.5.12 and everything works as it should and no crackling so it is definitely the new android app update that has broken something. Saddly to prevent it from updating the only way I know is to turn off updates for all my apps on phone.

Hi, we are looking into this. Thanks.

having same issue. took a video of the issue.

This also shows the album art issue on Tailscale. Though weirdly, it shows the correct artwork when it uses the super small one on the bottom.

I get it's a separate issue, but I happened to catch it in the same video

Did try version 3.5.16,  first impression is that looks like it is now working.

Also while playing around and trying to find fixes turned of decoding on server side for user, it didn't fixe the crackling for version 3.5.15, but it did fix different issue for me - when playing some songs would randomly crash the app, but now finally no more app crashing for me with decoding off over mobile network.

Hi, hit this same issue on my Galaxy Tab. I was NOT in the beta program though but certainly did get version 3.5.15. Tried joining the beta program and got the same issue and same version. Then I tried the Android TV version of the app and again hit the same issue. The android TV version is 2.1.23g. My server is running Asustor 4.8.11.0 (haven't had time to finish building the new Debian vm for my music server). I do not have the issue with any other clients I've tried the Roku client, the web client and Symphonium.

I guess I'll see about side loading another version maybe tomorrow...
