Then please work on the Emby for Android app, because it's absolutely terrible on the Shield. Slow, clunky, sometimes there are sound problems... If that's supposed to be the benchmark: Good night.

OmniiOMEGA 13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Oh what? Why’s that? I have no idea I’m on someone else’s server
OmniiOMEGA 13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Assuming it’s this? 4.9.3.0? Is that the latest too?
OmniiOMEGA 13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hmm yes appears to be from here but now I’m more confused? How is Emby client 2.1.29 here? It’s not even in the android tv play store? 2.1.23 from Dec 24 still showing there? there’s no release notes for 2.1.29 either?

You are correct, 2.1.23g is the latest Google play store stable release, whereas 2.1.29a was the latest Amazon stable release. Maybe @CBerscan update the Latest Versions page to reflect that to avoid confusion. 16 minutes ago, OmniiOMEGA said: there’s no release notes for 2.1.29 either? I had to do trial n error with the diff versions i.e. android vs android tv It shouldn't matter what is listed here, as the Play Stores will give you the latest version, whether Stable of Beta. Hopefully @ebrcan confirm the current version of Stable for Google and Amazon, as I am seeing 2.1.29 as the Stable version on the forums, but that may just apply to the Google release. Then I will update. Edited 29 minutes ago by CBers

Fair enough, although the date updated is incorrect, as 2.1.23 was released 7 December 2025. In any case, you'll always get the latest version from the Play Store. If you want to try the beta version, join the Beta chanel as stated earlier. Everything released after 2.1.23 is listed here.

What’s weird still is YouTube trailers are still broken in 2.1.23 not until I updated to beta 2.1.44 or 2.1.29g it fixed it? Yet 2.1.28 YT trailers were fixed so why is 2.1.29g not on the play store to resolve this?
