cover art 4.0, latest version, not working for me

hi experts what could be the reason for not seeing the cases I've maintained for movies tv etc..? the plugin doesn't look very complicated? I've checked all settings I could found. in my instance all is working perfectly, but in another one I've recently created for my parents the Plugin doesn't work. I'm stuck with posters. 

only one default profile 

any thoughts? many thanks!!

thanks Luke.

a screenshot doesn't make sense, it just shows the usual posters on the home screen and lib views.I'm not at my parents in the moment... 

latest emby server running in windows 

checked with lg tv app, latest on a g5 and latest Android tv app via shield. 

I did the same as always, as far I can remember. installed the glugin. press default. maintain covers for movies, TV and seasons. go back to main configuration and run a library and metadata update incl replacing all pictures. 

i still see posters not covers on both apps. 

the Plugin works perfectly in my setup at home. latest docker on synology and various apps like oled TV, android on tablets and emfy for Kodi next gen via ugoos am6b+. I didn't see a poster only covers since I installed the Plugin, a year at least. and I can't see a different configuration in my setup

hi now currently on a free version pls don't tell me the Plugin only works if you have a subscription or similar. 

that would be an info that should be visible while downloading the Plugin!!

haha def not. I wrote earlier they have their own little server installation on a windows notebook using emby the first time.l, thanks to me...

I cannot let them use mine (which would be free of course!!) because I cannot go out with anything in the moment. fiber isp should be available for 3 years now, currently I'm with a cable and the isp send me an modem router without bridge mode and I'm to stupid to maintain 2 port forwards with my router mesh system.. that's something I tried one whole day and will never touch again

they will try emby in general, and if they like it I will subscribe for them

I think that would work.

Be aware of the device limit. 

They are accumulated by license key.

So if you parents share there server with others its counted aging's you key.

In general do NOT share your license key.

Its against TOS, I believe.

they will not share anything their internet / upload is way to slow for anything. maybe 480i would work

hmm. I'm with emby for 10 years. or 15? cannot even remember a time without, was there a life..? and I surely don't remember how I first set it up. with my latest transfer to synology app and then later to docker I don't think I did anything besides using my name and pw. so that I should be able to do somewhere else

I just thought username and pw are for the clients. I honestly cannot remember what I did to subscribe my server with my credentials. but cannot be rocket science
