emby-newb 2 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 (edited) Hey everyone, love this app so much bought a lifetime sub. I have pretty much everything set except I got bit by the trailers plugin. Didnt like how it worked, so I unchecked everything, turned everything off and deleted the plugin. Well, it still shows in the UI. How do I get rid of it? I read several threads on the cinema intros/trailers plug in but didnt find the answer. I tried deleting the metadata, but was also met with frustration. Thanks again Edited October 21, 2025 by emby-newb

Yes, and yes. Got prompted to restart it because of an update. So I did. I also deleted the cinema intro plugin.
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 (edited) That's odd. If you go to your servers programdata\plugins folder, is there trailers.dll file present? Edit: In your user settings>Access tab, scroll all the way down, untick "All channels" - does it list Trailers channel there? Before that, if you enter Trailers library on Home Screen, are there actual trailers listed? Edited October 21, 2025 by GrimReaper Append
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 May need to see the server log on startup but what do you see when you enter the library?
Solution Luke 42077 Posted October 21, 2025 Solution Posted October 21, 2025 Hi, try running the refresh internet channels scheduled task and then it should go away

emby-newb 2 Posted October 21, 2025 Author Posted October 21, 2025 Thanks everyone for the suggestions. To answer: @Happy2PlayI saw everything there, media and all, but none would play. @GrimReaperYes, the trailer.dll was still present. If I entered the trailers library, the files were all there, just wouldnt play.
