Movie Collections Missing Art

I also have collections that are missing the Collection art. Showing broken links for the artwork. I have the check after 30 days set for now. But what triggers the Collection art download? Refresh metadata of the Collection? Delete the broken links?

I've got 21 Collections like this. Plus another dozen with no art just a blank folder icon. Looks like I can Refresh Metadata/Replace Existing Images on the collection and they will download. Wasn't sure if it should happen with the Automatically refresh metadata after xxx days.

So I found a way to fix my problem without answering my original question...... Also had a problem of missing Collections that would not re-add.

Maybe this is general knowledge but you have to turn off the Lock This Item To Prevent Changes (on the movie) and then do a Refresh Metadata and the Collection will be added. Also re-downloads the missing images.

HI, yes locking may prevent some features from working, and it can cause frustration later if you forget that you locked it. for this reason I generally would suggest just locking specific fields rather than entire items.
