donjah79 1 Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 (edited) Hi all, Since the latest version for Samsung tv, I lost sync with trakt. I don't believe there is something wrong with the sync itself as the sync worked perfectly fine for the same emby user on the android app in Chromecast. When I try to go to the settings for trakt in the Samsung tv app, nothing happens. I can't open the settings from there. And since I installed the samsung app the sync also stopped working on chromecast. Is there anyone else who faces the same issue or do I need to set it up elsewhere other than in the settings for the Emby user? Hope to get this fixed soon as I'm now manually updating trakt whether I use Emby on my Samsung tv. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Rafael Edited October 15, 2025 by donjah79

Hi Luke, Thanks for your prompt response. And apologies for not being fully clear. I use the same emby user on samsung tv app as on android tv app. Since I installed the Samsung tv app two days ago, my sync to trakt got lost. There is no live scrobbling or movies are not marked as watched on trakt when I finished watching them. It looks like my connecting to trakt got lost since installing the Samsung tv app. I've attached a picture of the trakt settings on samsung tv. When I click on Trakt on the menu, nothing happens. Hope this helps. Kindly let me know if you need more info. My expertise in emby or trakt is minimal. Nevertheless I've tried to set it up again with a new pin. No luck though. Best regards

Best regards Hi Luke, While I still cannot access the Trakt settings from the samsung tv app, I did manage to restore the connection with trakt though. Sorry for being a noob, it appears I had to first run the scheduled task in emby server to run the initial sync. Problem solved. Thank you
Luke 42077 Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Hi, it's more a matter of connecting trakt. Running the scheduled task is not mandatory. It is only used to sync activity that happened in the past. 1
