Procedure to pull missing images/art

I edited the fetcher settings for images and toggled on the options that were disabled by default. What is the proper procedure to have Emby go out and grab the missing art now that these have been enabled? Refreshing metadata and asking it to look for missing metadata? Do I need to do that, but also toggle the option to replace existing images? Or...do I need to tell it to do a scan? Thank you
