Thanks. The Scan media library has been stuck at 24.5% for one night, and I cannot stop it. If I click stop, it will be stuck in the process of stopping and will only pause or cancel after restarting the server. Now I am renaming the folder mentioned above and rescanning the media library, but once the progress reaches 24.5%, it gets stuck again. 2026-08-08 12:45:32.777 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Movie, Name: 黑豹2, Path: /4K电影/黑豹2:瓦坎达万岁 Black Panther 2 - Wakanda Forever.2022.COMPLETE.UHD.BLURAY-SURCODE, Id: 5 2026-08-08 12:45:32.787 Info App: Deleting path /config/metadata/library/35/350b680418b5dd6b0aeb6ebcc96df02a 2026-08-08 12:45:56.879 Info HttpClient: GET https://api4.thetvdb.com/v4/movies/2023/extended?meta=translations 2026-08-08 12:45:57.127 Info HttpClient: Http response 200 from https://api4.thetvdb.com/v4/movies/2023/extended?meta=translations after 248ms 2026-08-08 12:45:57.423 Info MediaProbeManager: ProcessRun 'ffprobe' Execute: /bin/ffprobe -i file:"/4K电影/黑豹2:瓦坎达万岁 Black Panther 2 - Wakanda Forever.2022.COMPLETE.UHD.BLURAY" -threads 0 -v info -print_format json -show_streams -show_chapters -show_format -show_data 2026-08-08 12:45:57.431 Info MediaProbeManager: ProcessRun 'ffprobe' Process exited with code 0 2026-08-08 12:45:57.432 Error App: Error in ffprobe *** Error Report *** Version: 4.9.5.0 Command line: /system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /config -ffdetect /bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 Operating system: Linux version 4.4.302+ (root@build5) (gcc version 12.2.0 (GCC) ) #90080 SMP Wed Jul 22 00:08:29 CST 2026 OS/Process: x64/x64 Framework: .NET 8.0.25 Runtime: system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 2 Data path: /config Application path: /system Emby.Server.MediaEncoding.Unified.Ffmpeg.FfRunException: Emby.Server.MediaEncoding.Unified.Ffmpeg.FfRunException: ffprobe failed - streams and format are both null: -i file:"/4K电影/黑豹2:瓦坎达万岁 Black Panther 2 - Wakanda Forever.2022.COMPLETE.UHD.BLURAY" -threads 0 -v info -print_format json -show_streams -show_chapters -show_format -show_data ffprobe version 5.1-emby_2023_06_25_p4 Copyright (c) 2007-2022 the FFmpeg developers and softworkz for Emby LLC built with gcc 10.3.0 (crosstool-NG 1.25.0) file:/4K电影/黑豹2:瓦坎达万岁 Black Panther 2 - Wakanda Forever.2022.COMPLETE.UHD.BLURAY: Is a directory embyserver (1).txt
LonelyCat 0 Posted Saturday at 06:00 AM Author Posted Saturday at 06:00 AM I found that directly adding the parent directory of BDMV to the media library, although it cannot scrape properly, can read the media information of m2ts files under BDMV/STREAM/ and play them. I'm not sure if it will be helpful in solving the problem.

Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks! Now I have downgraded to 4.8.10, which is equivalent to re-sweeping the library and modifying the metadata. See the attachment for the previous log. By the way, how to migrate the existing library and metadata when replacing the docker embyserver version? embyserver-63921649964.txt embyserver-63921800847.txt embyserver-63921695587.txt embyserver-63921694662.txt embyserver-63921669393.txt embyserver-63921669318.txt embyserver-63921665676.txt 1
LonelyCat 0 Posted Monday at 02:00 AM Author Posted Monday at 02:00 AM I also returned to 4.8.11.0. 4.8 Using the Bluray Folder Support plugin version 1.0.2.0 is normal, while versions 1.0.3.0 and above used in 4.9 cannot recognize the BDMV folder structure. Although it has been updated to 1.0.5.0, the issue still persists. We hope to find the problem and update the plugin.

Since 4.8 is normal, the problem may appear in the plug-in. I asked chagpt to help me write a python script to capture the title and era of unrecognized episodes and movies to provide a tmdb connection list, and then manually selected or modified most of them. The title is not standardized because it also needs to be pt, so the name can't be changed. It can only be further in emby. Modify, I think it's best for someone to make it into a plug-in compatible with emby, so that when scanning the whole library, those that are not recognized will not be scanned again in vain. The most important thing is that if the updated version starts from scratch in the future, it will be too troublesome. Many movies and episodes are manually modified. I hope the backup can be migrated to the new version in the future.
