upgraded to 4.9.1.80 - Director/Writers now appearing before Actors

I tried looking in the settings for this, but I don't see anything related to it. I do not use Emby for metadata scraping, I use NFO's only and I handle all of that with TinyMediaManager before I move the files to my server. 

Previously, actors would appear first and director / writers would be last. I double checked my NFO files and it does not matter if the directors and writers are listed before or after the actors, Emby is now listing them first. 

How do I move the directors/writers back where they belong?

Just checked on my test install of 4.9.1.80 my Directors are listed at the end of all the Actors as they always have.

Have a few new movies where this has happened but only 1 or 2 and it was before 4.9.1.80 was released.

I dont think its Emby but the metadata provider.

Are you saying ALL have been resorted somehow?

That is the unfortunate side-effect of Cast & Crew being able to be sorted now (and it annoys me to me end, so much so that I won't be moving up from 4.8.11.0), Emby reads order from external NFOs on initial import - as TMM typically writes <credits> and <director> tags before <actor> nodes, you get them listed first. 

Been reported in 4.9 beta branch long time ago.

TMM Dev was (grudgingly) accepting, fix will be in tomorrow's Nightly, followed by Pre-Release and Release versions in due time.

Once again, @GrimReapersaves the day. I promise that I did a search on the forum without results. I still use TMM 3, so I might have to find a different work around. This fix would mean that I would have to rewrite over 40,000 NFO files for my TV shows, episodes, and movies.

If they are able to be sorted, where is that option? It would have made more sense to separate cast & crew than to mix them up like this IMO.

I'm afraid so. Or just bite a bullet and subscribe to TMM5, it's more than worth it.

Edit Metadata dialog, there's a drag handle at each actor's entry.

It's a matter of principle. I don't do subscriptions. If they offered a lifetime option like Emby, I'd have done it in a heartbeat.

As a follow up to this post; I downloaded the latest nightly build of TinyMediaManager 5 and the fix for cast and crew was in there. I rewrote all of my movies NFO files (approximately 2500 on a networked server) in the time it took me to go downstairs and make a sandwich and come back upstairs. 

So in summary, quick and easy and it will work for all platforms. Unfortunately this will only work for those that have their library set up as NFO file only metadata. I can't offer any insight on people who rely on scrapers.
