Hi,luke

I install the emby android version on my tv box,the emby version is 3.5.11,In theory, it should work on a TV or a TV box,But it can't play anything.

Playback Error,There was an error precessing the request.please try again later

My box is PHICOMM N1,It is a very popular TV box in China,Its CPU is Amlogic S905, operating on Android 7.1.2

In the past, it worked normally and my server(Synology DS1821+ DSM7.2.2 Emby version is 4.9.1.80) did not have any error logs

Be aware that Emby's error messages really do not inform the user very much. In fact I would call Emby's error messaging minimalist at best.

Try to provide as much info as possible here and they will discover the problem, probably, but do not expect Emby to provide any even decent info in an error message.

Also I do not think the "Please try again later" part of the message actually should be followed as "later" often means nothing in the context in which it is offered.

Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

Hi,Luke

There are no error logs on the EMBY server, indicating that the error occurred in the stage before the emby client communicated with the server

I logcat my tv box use adb tools, and used chatgpt to analyze logcat logs

Chatgpt believes that the cause of the malfunction is the ClassValue API in the OKHTTP4.11 module introduced from Emby 3.5 version, which only supports Android 8 as a minimum. I cannot confirm if it is accurate, for your reference

The attachment is the logcat log of the time before and after the error, you can check it
