MovieServer42 1 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 So, I open the Emby client on my Onn Streaming Stick (I use Emby over Emby for Android TV), and every time, it says unable to connect to configured server "server_name," but then it connects to the configured server a few seconds later. Sometimes playback will stop mid-playback without providing any sort of error, my network bandwidth is 500mbps, stream set to a maximum of 5mbps, cache is set to 512mb.
seanbuff 1315 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Hi @MovieServer42, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
MovieServer42 1 Posted September 20, 2025 Author Posted September 20, 2025 Here's the log file embyserver.txt
Neminem 1518 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Not sure if this is your issue, but what happened to your F drive. There are a lot of errors pointing to that drive in your logs. F:\TV\Samurai Jack\Samurai Jack S02 (360p re-dvdrip)\Samurai Jack S02E06 XIX Jack Remembers the Past.mp4: No such file or directory
MovieServer42 1 Posted September 20, 2025 Author Posted September 20, 2025 That was just me trying to play stuff while my drive was disconnected. I'm currently watching Futurama on that same drive
ebr 16169 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Hi. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.
MovieServer42 1 Posted September 20, 2025 Author Posted September 20, 2025 I use Emby for Android. I've been using it since I set up the server because I don't like the UI for Emby for Android TV

Perhaps you're getting the app names mixed up? Can you try the other app to see how it compares? Edited September 20, 2025 by seanbuff
