Series Recording New Episodes Only Doesn't Pick Up "Live" Sporting Events

Hi, I'm doing a keyword series recording for my hockey team where I would like to record only the live events, and not the replays. I can see in the guide that the event is marked as "Live", and the repeat events are not, so I assumed that if I selected the New Episodes Only option in the series recording settings, it would pick up only the live versions of the events. However, once I change the setting, no more programs are picked up by my series search.

Not sure exactly what I should provide to troubleshoot, but here are some screenshots of what's I'm seeing in my guide and series settings. If I change it from new episodes only to all, emby picks up all of the games, including repeats.

I assumed it did, since I see the "live" icon in emby for the live events (not the replay events), but maybe that's not the same thing?

It's not the same thing. We might just need an option on the series recording for this.

The problem is that we can't just assume Live=New because I've also seen with other guide sources where even the rerun of the sporting event is marked as live.

Ok got it, I'll check with the developer of IPTVboss, but if it's possible to add an option to only record live (like how WMC used to do it I believe), that would be amazing.

Sorry @LukeI was wrong before, I do see the 'new' in the title of emby's guide, so perhaps there is a bug. See below:

That might be just text in the title

I believe "New" airings would show as "NEW" below the title

You're right, it looks like IPTVboss is auto converting the new tag to a live tag, which is causing my issue here. 

Obviously I think emby should have an option to recognize the live tag in addition to the new tag, but I'll take it up with the IPTVboss dev for now to see how to stop that behavior.

Just want to confirm that the developer has updated the latest IPTVBoss beta (3.9.92) to include both tags in the epg xml (live & new), which allows emby to properly pick up 'live' events with the new recordings only setting.
