bharvey13 1 Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 I have a folder for Movies. Previously metadata would be scraped for movies without issue but recently it has been unable to retrieve the data. I have tried manually identifying the movies where it is missing. I have tried multiple times to refresh the metadata. I have turned off the OpenVPN that was active on my TNAS system, and nothing seems to work to retrieve movie metadata. I had recently added a new TV series to my TV folder and it retrieved metadata for that without issue.embyserver.txt

Happy2Play 9780 Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 (edited) I would verify you have Movies providers enabled as there are no TMDB (moviedb) queries within this log. If they are enabled, I would toggle them off and back on again and refresh metadata on an item without metadata. Edited September 19, 2025 by Happy2Play

bharvey13 1 Posted September 19, 2025 Author Posted September 19, 2025 thank you I added the open movie database to be active and it appears to have mostly fixed it

If only OMDB is working you may not like the results either as it is limited in areas like cast and crew.
Neminem 1518 Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Also file naming example would be nice.
bharvey13 1 Posted September 19, 2025 Author Posted September 19, 2025 @Happy2Playwhat logs would be helpful that would be different from what I provided? And how would I enable the providers if they are disabled other than what was shown in the screenshot you gave earlier? I already had TheMovieDB and TheTVDB enabled on the modal on my end that looked just like yours, and I just updated them again to make sure I have them enabled now.

The most recent log where you say it is working know. But you would toggle the option off then back on as there are topics where they show enable but actually aren't and toggling them rewrites the config.

Those should be enough. Do you have something blocking connection to them?
