Same movie in different folders

hi there,

usually i organize my movies in a plain structure:

-[Folder] Movie1

-[Folder] Movie2

-[Folder] Movie3

-[File] Movie4

...

But sometimes i have boxes like shawscope. Volume 1 contains eg. "the 36th chamber of shaolin". This movie and all others in the box are collected in one folder. So my example from above now would be:

-[Folder] Movie1

-[Folder] Movie2

-[Folder] Movie3

-[File] Movie4

-[Folder] Shawscope Vol1

         --[Folder] Movie5

         --[Folder] Movie6

         --[Folder] Movie7

So far so good. But, actually, its a bit different:

-[Folder] Movie1

-[Folder] Movie2

-[Folder] Movie3

-[File] Movie4

-[Folder] Shawscope Vol1

         --[Folder] Movie3

         --[File] Movie4

         --[Folder] Movie5

So, i have Movie3 in a separate Folder from another release, also Movie4. But, these are the same movies as in the Shawscope Vol1 Folder, but different versions/releases. I'd like to see these movies summarized as one movie in my emby database, but selectable via version, like this:

Is this somehow possible?

Will be in the upcoming 4.9 server release.

Until then, you can either:

1) Multi-select and select "Group Versions" in three-dot menu

or

2) Use one of the community-made auto-Grouping plugins:

So i am looking forward for 4.9. Beta-version 31 is out. I guess it will not take to long for the final release.

It shouldn't be, according to the Dev.
