Android TV remote control from browser gone

Hello,

I used to be able to switch to my Android TV from my browser, and remotely start to play films or series.
Somehow my TV disappeared from the select list some day.
It's unclear how and why it disappeared, and I'd be glad if I could get it back into the list.

Reason I require this:
Some filter and browsing options available with the browser app are completely unavailable on the TV app, unfortunately.
So far, this wasn't a real problem because I could simply remote control my TV with the browser, which is currently not available any more.

Thank you in advance.
Regards
K.

Yes, I have the TV app up and in the foreground.
In the server admin Backend it is also shown:

(Obviously this is only the session from last night. The TV shows up as any other client app does when it is connected)

With all other client apps (browsers) or the Android Phone Emby app, it still works as ever.
Only the TV dropped out.

TIA

PS:
I Also tried signing out and in again on the TV, and removing the server from the TV and adding it newly.
All of this had no effect.

When I tried to remote control the TV from the Android phone app, the TV switched to Chromecast mode, which is not what I intended (no 4k, propper Audio and slower etc.).

The Server is Emby Linux Version 4.8.11.0, in case that info is helpful.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

Hi
Going to Settings -> Apps -> All apps -> Emby and triggering "Clear data" and "Clear cache" plus setting the server up fresh on the Android TV app solved the problem.

I still might try the Android (not TV) app some time, since it might have better filter options than the TV app...
But having the browser app remote back actually solves the majority of the pains with the TV app.

Thanks
K.
