Persistent collections

Is there any way to set up a persistent collection? Ie I would like to have a collection that doesn't disappear when there are no items left in there.

I can see that collections are shared across all users and only show those items a user can see - but once the collection size is 0, no user can access the collection anymore.

Even if the collection has no items I would like to select it from the list via "add to collection". Otherwise I need to type it's name out in full and that's a bit annoying on a TV.

Hi, the way they are designed, not at the moment. They are attached to media in the same way genres are, so once the media is gone, so too are the categories.

Playlists will show up empty though, in case that helps.

I'm basically trying to figure out a. Way to hijack the emby UI so I can say, from my wife and mine joint profile, she doesn't want to watch something - so add it to that collection. Then me have some script run on a timer to poll that collection and move the media to the root folder for my profile.
