Just tested the plugin.
It seems to work fine here when on the latest Emby Beta.

Timeout still doesn't block watching on Emby web - 1.6.4.0

Is the code on github anywhere, happy to take a look to help track this down.

Must admit i have purposely ignored doing anything to this plugin because i regret ever coming up with the idea for it.
Almost every time i see it mentioned it's by people using it for their streaming shares (pirate Netflix servers) where they now (thanks to this plugin) now sell watching hours.

I will look into this problem and after that i will delete everything to do with the plugin and hope the developers make something better and less beneficial for the pirates.
This is nobody's fault other than those people using it for piracy!!

It's sad when people take what should be a good thing and abuse it. I loved the notifications for direct play vs. transcoding, because it helped me to know when I need to adjust something, or why I may be having an issue.

Maybe the emby devs can roll that into the core server.

Ah man, this is devastating. This plugin was an aboslute game changer for automatically limiting my kids screen time in exchange for chores. I was wondering why the repo was missing today.

I only use the Transcode Notifications and Resolution Blocking features, which would be really nice to be part of the core server, but until that ever happens I hope a minimal version of the plugin can be made available with just what's in the Notifications tab of the plugin.

I'm really sorry but, i don't want to be the cause of trouble for the developers of Emby.
I'm running through some ideas in my head for a key system for it, sadly such things are easily hacked.

At any rate, the plugin should work for a good while still as i don't think Emby still change much in any way that will impact the plugin.

Trying to find out something to keep it alive.
Maybe a limit on the amount of users in it and then closed source. That should at least keep most from using it for piracy use.

@yockeri have very much interest in using your plugin, too bad i'm a few days late and you've pulled the plugin for the right reasons.

Is there somehow a possibility for me to access the either privated repo or the codebase? I'm fully capable of building it my own and am willing to also do contributions or whatever if needed.

I am thinking of making it closed source and with a 3 person profile limit for watch time limit to keep the plugin alive. 

That said, I'm sure some one else got the source code and willing to share, nothing I can and will do against that.

Makes sense, í'll be waiting for the re-release of the plugin unless someone else comes along with the sourcecode.

I too am sorry you had to pull this, such a shame. I would also love a re-release, I only ever used the transcode blocking function, and would love to see that continue in some form!
