Server not reachable any more

I barely use emby outside of the computer it's hosted on but I did have it set up once. I got a new PC and made a new server a few months ago but can't connect to this one from Android or Chromecast. And I'm just running around in circles with the error it's not reachable.

It seems the ports are all forwarded properly as well as the embyserver.exe as explained in the guide. But I don't know how to diagnose this further.

from other pc on home network can you ping the servers ip?

so likely firewall on server hosting emby is blocking.  

to test turn off the firewall for a minute.   test ping again.  if you can ping this verifies that the firewall is blocking.   if you still cant ping the server then you maybe trying to connect to the wrong ip.

Dont Forget to re-enable firewall after testing

Doh, thank you very much. When I was in the firewall settings, I noticed it was set to Public, not Private. Simply changing to Private fixed it. It's probably been like this since I set up Windows and forgot to change it.
