filecore 8 Posted June 18, 2025 Posted June 18, 2025 As in topic, and as seen in other topics such as this one. When I try to log in on Android native client, I get the "access token is invalid or expired" warning (you can see an example right at the end of the server logs). Things I've tried: Clearing app cache Clearing app data Uninstalling and re-downloading app Rebooting phone Changing user password Other clients work fine with the exact same user credentials (browser, incognito browser, Samsung TV) but I cannot use it on my main phone nor with Android Auto (same phone) due to this. Any ideas on next steps or some way to force invalidate these credentials? embyserver.txt
Luke 42078 Posted June 18, 2025 Posted June 18, 2025 Hi, the app is sending a post http request and it looks like you might have a reverse proxy that is receiving it and changing it to a get request.
Solution filecore 8 Posted June 18, 2025 Author Solution Posted June 18, 2025 Haha yep got it now, it was me being stupid. I was signing into http but it's got SSL so I should have been using https. But when I did that, I got more errors... because I was using port 80 in the app server settings and I needed to be on 443. Such a small thing, but now it works perfectly again. Hopefully this helps somebody else in the future! 1
