So, I have a dynamic node to tv shows, and, I am showing the latest unwatched episodes. What happens is if I start Kodi, they all appear. Now, a new show gets recorded in Emby, and, I go back to show all unwatched episodes, and, it's not there. So, dynamic is working as static for me. I can restart Kodi and it's there. It just never seems to go back and get the new list when entering a screen. Is there something I am missing, an option somewhere? I found a bug about the progress updates in dynamic nodes and will be fixed in next version, but seems to be different to yours. You mean a complete show was added and it doesn't appear at all? Is it a regular view or a widget your use on Kodi? Edited Tuesday at 04:13 PM by quickmic
KeithA 5 Posted Tuesday at 10:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:43 PM I have playlists for both music and video. I only want to have video playlists in my Kodi + Emby for Kodi NextGen setup. Embys playlist library contains both. I see playlist listed when I go to movies in the web interface. Is there any way to get to them using Emby for Kodi NextGen? I have a lot of playlists in audio and it seems to want to crash when I attempt to sync the playlist library in Kodi using this addon. Which is fine because I dont want the audio ones anyway. the unfortunate thing is that when I select the playlist using android audio the video ones are there and it looks quite messy. I guess this is probably an Emby limitation. In the end I was trying to setup a demo library with playlist for all of the demo files for a given movie but I haven't found a way. Thanks

Been without AC for 3 weeks but finally tomorrow. Been up to 110 degrees outside. So, too hot in the closed theater room to check. Pretty sure it's just a dynamic mode. Once I find out, will tell you which node and what the custom menu item is. It is not a complete show (but could be if it's E01, it is a new episode mostly for an existing show. 1
KeithA 5 Posted Wednesday at 10:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:48 AM I looked again. They are there and work but they are with ALOT of Music playlists as well. Music playlist are just listed but empty when you select them.

Did you browse via video addon (helper) and not music the addon (helper)? Edited Wednesday at 02:56 PM by quickmic
Eisi2005 14 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hi, I’d like to bring up Cinema Mode again. I’ve installed the Cinema Intros on the Emby server. However, I can’t find anywhere to specify the path for my trailers. I don’t want to play the trailers that come with my movies; instead, I want to play trailers from a separate folder. I tried specifying this path in the “Custom Intros” section as a test, but even then it doesn’t play any trailers from that folder. Edited 22 hours ago by Eisi2005

After that, the remote trailer selection should look like in the screen shot. But I didn't test the Vantage point addon. Not sure if it works in Kodi, depends how it plays the trailers...

I'm not familiar with it, I use Emby's CInema Intro's addon and works with custom trailer-folder. Also I cannot even see any remote trailers on your setup, but again. You use the vantage point addon and this needs to be review. It takes several hours only to figure out how the addon works and reports data via Emby's API. Then I need a sync strategy to Kodi (if possible) etc. This all takes time and frankly has a low priority, as Kodi actually updated it's databases in the last days at two times. This could result in showstoppers and has priority one. Howver, what I can tell you yet, the Emby server config doesn't matter. The actual trailer playback must be configured in the Kodi addon and will only work if the addon can sync the trailers.
Eisi2005 14 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hi, I don't need to use the Vantage Point plugin. But if I only use the Cinema Intros plugin, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to specify my local trailers—as a path or as a library? I probably—or actually, almost certainly—don’t understand how the add-on is supposed to access my trailers. I’ve already created a library in the Emby server called “Trailers” that points to the folder where the trailers are stored. I’ve synced the library in the Emby plugin in Kodi, and I can play these trailers manually in Kodi, but how does the plugin find this library now? I don’t see the image you have at all; I only ever see “Server: No Trailers” there.

Eisi2005 14 Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago OK, thanks. I've now installed the Trailer plugin and enabled “New and Upcoming” there. But I still can't enable anything else in Kodi or Cinema Intros. Does the library with the trailers have to have a specific name, or how do I add my own trailers there now?

Eisi2005 14 Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago (edited) Yes, I created a library in the Emby server, as shown in the screenshots above. I also synced it with Kodi using the Emby plugin, and I can manually select and play these trailers in Kodi. Do these trailers have to have a specific name? Does the word “trailer” have to be in the name? Edited 12 minutes ago by Eisi2005
