I have been try to use "Scan Library Files"

Emby Server Beta: v4.9.1.0.

For example, I search "林忆莲" in Emby:

It only show 4 songs.

But in fact, I have many songs—I can even click on the "Artist" for any of these four songs to jump to a full list of songs.

Hi, do all of those songs have that string in the title?

No, "林忆莲" is the Artist's name.

That means I am searching this artist to see all of her songs.

I try a artist with English name, and I even cannot find any songs.

Does this mean I can't search for songs by the artist's name?

Not currently, but we plan to add this in the future.

Currently you can use song title and album title.

Ok, thanks...

I am using a music app which connect to Emby, and cause this, I cannot search in my songs list just by artist's name to see all of her songs.

Fortunately, the app also offers the option to cache data in a database (rather than sending every request to Emby), so this issue isn't too significant.

Still, I look forward to the day this feature is available ;)
