Heinrich 1 Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 (edited) The good news is that I am realizing I haven't had a problem with this in years. I remember years ago when I was first building my server library I would have occasional mis-identified titles. This one has been a struggle! The show is in the TV folder. I've deleted out the *.nfo files manually. I've tried plugging into the server the "external IDs" by looking them up. I've used the "remove identification" function numberous times, along with "refresh metadata." I've also tried renaming the episodes to a different type naming convention. But the server keeps identifying TV show as one of the promo movies for the TV show and making it a movie Version 4.8.11.0 Edited May 27, 2025 by Heinrich
GrimReaper 4739 Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 Specific example would be required, along your filefolder structure/naming and server log from the time of import. How to Report a Problem

Solution Luke 42077 Posted May 27, 2025 Solution Posted May 27, 2025 Hi, I would try deleting the nfo files, and then renaming the series folder to include the year at the end. So Andor (XXXX). Then just run a regular library scan. Please see if that helps.

But in this case the first provider would appear to be TVDB so the result comes from them as shown in the log snippet. What content type is the library as I can only guess Mixed Content?
Heinrich 1 Posted May 28, 2025 Author Posted May 28, 2025 Putting a year in parenthesis fixed this particular show. Not sure why I didn't think of it What concerns me though is that all of my manual editing never seems to take. Not sure of the sequence to do it, but I filled in all identifiers - IMDB, TVDB to no effect. 1
