Unable to get any info beyond user accounts after upgrading to version 1.9.9 (6)

Containerized running 4.8.11.0

tvOS 16.3 (20K650)

 

After upgrading to the newest version of the appleTV emby app, it is unable to do more than locate a server, display the available user accounts. Once a user has been selected, the app just does not populate anything in Home/Favorites content areas. Search also yields nothing.

Things I've tried:

• Deleting the server connection in the app and reconnecting ends with the same result.
• Changing server and selecting it either from the list and from ip has no change either.
• Selecting sign out and then selecting the server causes the app to hang on the overlay before user selecting (the one where it displays the server name, with a loading circle underneath it).
• Selecting users from a list and selecting them by name input ends with the same result.
• Changing the name of the server gets updated in the app right away
• Restarting the server, the app and the apple tv with no success.

In the attached log is a restart, followed by connecting using the appletv, selecting a user and then waiting more than an hour. 

The IPs in the log are:

• 192.168.0.123 emby server
• 192.168.0.11 apple TV
• 192.168.0.55 a desktop used to initiate the restart.

Hi, is that the latest tvOS update available for your device?

Updating to 18.5 solved the issue.

 

I thought that the 16.3 might be LTS for my model, because of its age. It's been set to auto update since it was set up, so I didn't think to try a force check for OS updates. After updating it enumerates the content and plays it as well without issue.
