crusher11 1101 Posted May 21, 2025 Posted May 21, 2025 I have a UGOOS AM6B+ for MVC 3D and Dolby Vision FEL playback, but I hate the Kodi interface so I'm sticking with the Shield for all other uses. The way I'm handling it is through a "recently played movies" custom widget - I start playback on the Shield, stop it and switch over to the AM6B+, and the movie will be right there at the top of the list. No need to do any navigating via the Kodi interface. I even have the "stop playback and switch to the AM6B+" bit automated in Home Assistant. Works fine with everything except Gravity. For some reason, that never shows up in my widget, whether I play it on the Shield or on the AM6B+.
TeamB 2438 Posted May 21, 2025 Posted May 21, 2025 does it show up in the recently played in the web interface

Luke 42077 Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 You could sort a library by date played, or use table view to view date played.

TeamB 2438 Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 the "recently played movies" just order the results by last play date and takes the top X of them, I dont know why a single movie would be treated differently.

It just happened again with Double Indemnity, and comparing the lists it also seems to have happened with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. There certainly seems to be no pattern as to what does or doesn't get on the list.
crusher11 1101 Posted May 24, 2025 Author Posted May 24, 2025 It appears that I have to have finished watching a film for it to appear on the list. If it's already on the list, merely starting it will move it to the top of the list, but if it's not already on the list it won't appear there until I finish it.
