With match video resolution on i can't get my 420p or 576p videos to show those resolutions, they instead get upscaled to 1080p no matter what i do.
I not really a problem but just something i find strange.

This is using Emby on a Shield and the TV is not set to upscale anything.

Hi.  What do you mean by "show those resolutions"?

The TV actually only has a single resolution and everything is scaled one way or another to that resolution.  There are different input modes but, eventually, everything is mapped to the actual pixels on the display.  Most modern TVs won't have an input mode below 1080.

Forgot about that tbh.
But i tried with monitors that can handle lower than 1080p as well inc. an old POS HP monitor from before sliced bread was a thing that can't even do 1080p. :)
Maybe it's just the Shield that stops it.

As said, it's not a problem at all.. Just strange.

The Shield probably doesn't have an output mode below 1080.

I got it to work somehow with the old monitor, no idea how. Everything with a display that can handle 1080p is still 1080p minimum.
Starting to think it's the "AI" upscaling on the shield. Anyway.. Not going to loose more time messing with it.

Many thanks for the help though. :)
