When trying to add folders to my librarys i just get an error message that the path couldn´t be added. Make sure that the path is correct and that Emby Server har permissions to the path. I translated the error from swedish so maybe it does not say exactly this but close enough.

How can I fix this? The path must be  correct since i am choosing the folders from within Emby. But I cant figure ut how to handle Emby Server permissions.

Hi, what folder are you trying to add? Is it on the same NAS?

It it is the same no matter which folder i try to add. The folders are all on the nas-shares and emby is installed on the same nas (ts-464). I have tried adding several different folders, tried adding the path directly, tried different mediatypes but no difference. I have Plex installed and running on the same nas without any issues.

OK well can you list one?

Also please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred:

Thanks!

"There was an error adding the media path. Please ensure the path is valid and the Emby Server process has access to that location."

Attached the log

Can also mention that this install has worked in the past. But has had Emby deactivated för a long time and wanted to try it again. Updated the server directly when reactivating it (without checking to see if it actually worked). My original library names are still there but no folders are mapped to them anymore.
