No "trailers" button for newly added TV Shows

Is there a way to manually trigger a search for trailers for TV shows, or something that might be causing newly added shows to not automatically search for a trailer?

The last 18 series added to my library don't have the "Trailers" button, like all of the other TV series in my library. Newly added movies all seem to have a trailer available, including quite a few that were added after the TV series with missing trailers.

I checked the tvshow.nfo and there is no <trailer> section in the one's with missing trailers.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

I'm referring to the "Trailers" button on a series/movie detail screen that just links to a Youtube video, not locally-stored trailers or any separate plugins.

Hi there, what series metadata fetchers are enabled on the library?

Do those shows have trailers on the metadata provider site? I think YouTube trailer links come from themoviedb, TV shows included. Try searching on themoviedb.org and see if those shows have trailers.

OK. Only MovieDb has trailer urls.

Yes, they do have trailers. I'll try adding that as a metadata source; I wasn't aware TMDB also had series on it.

Okay, thanks. I'll enable TMDB. I must've had it enabled in the past and then somehow disabled it, since my other series all have trailers.

If I manually run a library scan will that pull the missing trailer links? or will I need to do a full metadata refresh or something?

EDIT: Nevermind, "search for missing metadata" did the trick. Thanks!
