Has Anything Changed with Emby Connect?

I have been using Emby Connect for years, but now it's not working for me. When my local connection fails, I select the Emby Connect option and enter my credentials. The screen just refreshes back to the server selection screen. This happens on Windows and Android. Thinking I must be doing something wrong, I even set up a new Forum ID with a different email, set it on the server and tried to connect. I received the email message to confirm that it was OK to connect and confirmed it. Same result. I haven't used Connect for several months, so maybe something changed that I missed. I assume I must be doing something pretty stupid, so I was reluctant to even ask, but just in case.

Are you trying to connect to a local server, or a remote server?

 

Emby Connect is just a means of passing the connection details to the client. If the connection to a local server is failing, Emby Connect won't help.

 

Check that the server is actually running on the server machine, and that it's firewall is not blocking connections.

I'm trying to connect remotely, but I have found the problem. There is an issue with my remote domain name. I'm working on fixing that. Thanks for your response.
