Refusing to connect after shutdown

Hello, I'm hoping I can get assistance.

I recently setup an Emby server on my Asustor Drivestor Lite 2 and it initially set up and ran beautifully on my local network and I ended up getting premier. I was trying to get my Emby server to work remotely this weekend and after deciding that's not in the cards I setup a Plex and that will work for remote use (I still don't understand why Plex will work remotely but not Emby but thats not my issue).
I however wanted to still use Emby locally since I have a sub and they aren't refundable. I went to reboot my Emby server but instead hit shut down and I haven't been able to access it since. All I get is refuse to connect errors.

I saw another post about someone having the refusing to connect error so i followed the steps and got nothing after trying a couple times. This is a screen of my last attempt, I skipped a couple steps in the end.

I just want to access my server again even if it means starting over. If I didn't have a sub for premier, I'd give up but I foolishly got a sub while it was working fine.

I'm also hesitant to factory reset my NAS as I do have Plex functioning just fine and have others using it currently. I do have everything backed up, though if this is my only option.

My router and NAS wifi info hasn't changed since before it stopped working, honestly the only thing that happened is I hit shut down and now it seems to have just disappeared. I admit I'm not very well versed in the networking side of all of this as this is my first time working with NAS and servers which is why I just got a beginner friendly NAS setup.

If anyone has any idea what I can do to get it back that'd be appreciated. I'd really like to not have to eat the cost for this mishap if I can help it.

Hi, it sounds like you just need to start Emby Server again, no?

(I still don't understand why Plex will work remotely but not Emby but thats not my issue).

They have a relay process that kicks in automatically when a direct connection from device to server isn't possible. This relay process routes all aspects of the connection through Plex's own servers. This is what allows it to seem like it's working without having to use any port forwarding. Personally, from a privacy standpoint, I would rather just not have it work at all then have the relay kick in.

I assumed that was all I needed to do as well which is why I'm so confused as to why I can't access anything now.
The only method I know of to access managing my emby server on this NAS is to log into the IP address via a web browser which is where the failed connection errors are coming.
I realize I'm exceptionally green to this so I could be missing something incredibly simple so i apologize in advance.

One thing I can note is in my attempts to reinstall Emby (this time included) there is no Emby folder created on the NAS drives once installed. For the life of me I can't remember if those folders are created automatically or after the server is accessed.

Ahhhh that makes sense. Honestly if I can get Emby back I was going to try and contact my ISP to try and resolve my double NAT issue from their radios that I assume is my issue with the port forwarding to allow Emby to function remotely. I'd rather run this if I can.

Have you tried restarting the NAS? Don't you need to start Emby Server from the Asustor apps section?

I have restarted the NAS 3 times including manually pressing the button on the back and just restarting through control panel. From the control panel the apps section opens into a web browser (which is functional) from there it also opens the server in a web browser (not functional). I have not found any other means in which to access things. The mobile NAS controller AiMaster does not support accessing media server apps. Below are some screenshots showing what I work with to control the server on the NAS.

I may try a factory reset tomorrow as I'm out of ideas.

This morning I did a factory reset of my NAS and everything is back up and functional. I'm assuming something got corrupted while doing reinstalls trying to get remote access to work which was doomed after noticing I'm stuck in double NAT by my ISP.

Sorry for the senseless posts, thanks for the attempts to assist.
