PrincessClevage 175 Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 This might sound a little petty but I enjoy the way other android apps exit the application by pressing back button once in the top level screen to exit rather than having to press back button and then being prompted to exit by pressing ok button. If you could please consider changing this function to back, back button rather than back,ok buttons would be user improvement at least in my opinion thanks
Luke 42077 Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Hi, what version number of the app are you on now?

I have installed the "Emby" version available from the nvidia shield pro google play store. Are you referring to side loading another version ?

Are you referring to side loading another version ? No need to side load. If you search for "Emb" in the Play Store, you will see two results come up. Install the second one that is named "Emby for Android" (without "TV" in the title) You don't need to uninstall the other, they will happily run side by side. 1

Crikey, thanks a far superior player that doesn’t stutter with truehd. Quite confusing having two android options that look so similar. I had been struggling with truehd and frame rate switching with the shield for ages and such and easy fix! Alternate question, is there anyway with the android app to decrease backdrop transparency I.e make backdrops more vibrant and visible?
Luke 42077 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 For video stuttering, please try Emby for Android 3.5.25 and let us know how that compares: https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.
