Can someone please point me to where an External Player can be configured in the new Windows App available from the Microsoft Store?

HI, it's not implemented yet, but we will be adding it in an upcoming update.

The app is really of no use to me without the option for an external player.

Any indication of ETA, and if the external player will also be implemented for Live TV?

I don't have an ETA, but yes it will.

The previous store app didn't have this either, so it's not like it's been taken away. If you need it right now, you can still get the downloaded desktop app:

Thanks for the link. I've never used the Store app before. I'll use the old desktop version for now.
