Emby App startet teilweise nicht korrekt auf gTV Streamer

Hallo community,

ich habe seit einigen Tagen das Problem, dass die Emby App auf gTV Streamer nicht korrekt startet. Die App öffnet sich, jedoch nur die leere Emby Übersicht.
Das Menu und die Inhalte bleiben komplett leer (auf der Grafik die Teile, welche durchgestrichen sind). Danach stürzt die App ab.

Workaround: App deinstallieren, App installieren, einloggen - dann funktioniert das wieder, bis in ca. 2-3 Tagen, danach wieder das gleiche Spiel.

Konnte jemand das gleiche Verhalten beobachten oder habe ich etwas verbockt?

it's "Emby for Android TV", v 2.1.23g (tv.emby.embyatv)

This worked like a charm before, I don't know if there was an automatic update of the app or something with gTV Streamer...

Hi.  Are you sure?  The image you showed above is not of that app.

Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Hey ebr,

yes, 100% sure, installed from the g appstore - the image is just to show, which parts will not be loaded at all, made from from the web application.
Will try the Amazon Emby later and check it again.

May this happen, when my user is still logged in from the same device and I try to log in again?
(If you are logged in and just power off the streaming device without do a proper logout, then power up again and log in again?)

Hey Luke,

Device is "Google TV Streamer", Android Version 14, Stock ROM.

Emby Version ist "Emby for Android TV", v 2.1.23g (tv.emby.embyatv) - I tried to install the version in Amazon as a sideload, but it's not installable on gTV Streamer. (See previous post from ebr)

Unfortunately this behaviour happens not every time and I don't know yet how to force this error. Actually it works fine ...

If it happens again, I'll try to delete the cache - perhaps this will help temporarily.

Hi.  Do not try to sideload.  Please search the Google Play store for "emb" and see if the other app shows up.

All,

seems to work with 'Emby for Android'. Tested it now for about a week and the error did not show up again since then.
