Managing Folder Access Permissions Based on Metadata

Hello, I would like to know if itโ€™s possible to share folders based on the metadata applied by the administrator?

For example, everyone has access to the "photo" folder.
Inside the "photo" folder, there are "album 1" and "album 2".

I modified the metadata of album 1 by tagging the usernames, and did the same for album 2.
I would like those who are tagged in album 1 to have access to album 1 but not to album 2, unless they are tagged.

I have more than 50 albums :)

Thanks in advance!

Under Users -> Parental Control you can limit access by tags.

hi, thanks for it,ย

I actually tested this and it works but it blocks access to all other libraries

I have a "film" library and another "photo" library and I want everyone to have access to the films but not to the photos

You already have that per folder access also if you add albums as folder instead of Photos.ย

But yes if tagging you can apply tag access to users.

more simply, I would like to easily set up a way to add access only to the people found in the albums
this way would take too much time because I have several hundred files
there is a way for ?

There really is no simple answer as you have to provider user access via folder access (potentially requiring massive reorganization) or per tagging all media.ย ย

As fare as I know these are your options.

If you find another way then please educate me ๐Ÿ˜‰
