kjenkins46214 1 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 On 12/10/2024 Emby had an update version 4.8.10.0. After the update when you select Shows from the menu option the app restarts. This only happens on the roku sound bar,. The android phones, iphone and roku tv work fine. I did restart emby server and the actual pc which is Windows 10. I also removed and reinstall the emby app on the roku sound bar, same situation. I found a work around temporarily but unsure of a cure. Thanks Keith Jenkins
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 HI, can you please attach the emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks.
kjenkins46214 1 Posted December 12, 2024 Author Posted December 12, 2024 The log file has an error report around 2024-12-11 22:29:12.534 embyserver.txt
pizzaguy 0 Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) For the record I'm experiencing this too, but only when "hide watched" is enabled (red) on the right of the shows grid. Otherwise it doesn't crash. I tested this by creating a new library, where "hide watched" was disabled by default. This functions as a temporary workaround too. Edited December 12, 2024 by pizzaguy
ebr 16169 Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Hi. Please let us know if these issues clear up after your Roku updates tonight.
kjenkins46214 1 Posted December 14, 2024 Author Posted December 14, 2024 Same situation after the update. I did video the problem which is only occurring on one device, the sound bar. I may try to replace it and see what happens. IMG_1281.MOV

Solution kjenkins46214 1 Posted December 15, 2024 Author Solution Posted December 15, 2024 As of 12/14/2024 the issue has corrected itself. I've restarted the server, all devices, installed all updates and it started working correctly after 10 hours. 1
