kashley505 2 Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Hello, Since April of 2024 (or so as I can't remember the exact date), I have been getting the following playback error for any movie that is 1080 or higher resolution. Prior to that, I had never seen this error at all. None of my hardware/network has changed at all, only the Emby updates. I have exhausted my searches and can't seem to resolve the issue. Here is all of the relevant info: Emby version 4.8.10.0 Emby Server on Synology NAS DS214se CPU: MARVELL Armada 370 DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7 Error Message: Playback Error. No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. Repro: Using the Emby client for Roku of any Windows web browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox), play a movie with a resolution of 1080 or higher. Anything less than 1080 works. On Android all resolutions work perfectly (stats for nerds on Android: Stream MP4 Direct Play, Video Renderer: MediaCodec) I attached logs as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance! ffmpeg-transcode-ff1520bd-5eef-47b3-ad3c-bcf737252945_1.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Hi, if you need immediate relief, there is a good chance this is resolved on the 4.9 beta channel. Thanks.
