Pre transcoding everything

Hi all,

 

I am very new to emby. I have 200-300 group of people whom I share the media library. Its a laravel app and nginx server. I transcoded everything using the ffmpeg. Everything worked fine so far but current features of the web app is very basic and I don't have time to add all the features. I tried emby and it works great only problem is I lack enough hardware for people to stream media while emby transcodes them on demand.

 

So question is very simple, is there any way I can do the transcoding and save the files (like I have been doing) then let emby handle the rest except the transcoding.

 

I am sorry if this was asked before, I searched a lot but could not find anything that may work.

HI, yes, you can do that using our conversion feature:

Convert Media
