Force transcode to MP4 container.

One of my users have a LG TV and would like to watch the videos i have in full Dolby Vision. Problem is that my files are in general all in MKV containers and LG only support Dolby Vision when in MP4 containers.

Is it some how possible to force transcoding for LG TVs to a MP4 container så Dolby Vision is possible or will the act of transcoding the container it self remove any possibility of even HDR?

Would hate to have to convert my library to MP4 as that would give me other problems instead.
