macone555 2 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Hello, I have a server with two network interfaces, but the server:8096 is reachable from only one network. I can ping the server from every network. But the port is open only on one. I try to open it in the firewall, but nothing happens. int1:192.168.68.0/24 int2: 192.168.88.0/24 In dashboard, I have as home address IP from int1 network, but I can't reach server from this network. I am able to do that only from int2 network. I would like to access Emby from booth network. Some advice? Thank you.
Q-Droid 989 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Are you trying with an app or browser? What happens when you try to connect, any messages or errors? Attach the emby server log.
macone555 2 Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 Hi, thank you for reply. In Chrome, I'm getting: ERR_CONECTION_REFUSET. embyserver-63864980980.txt
Carlo 4560 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Have you configured anything here: If not, try and configure this to so Emby Server will bind to those interfaces. 1
Q-Droid 989 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 As @Carlo posted make sure to include all local subnets in the LAN networks. You can include the fe:80 (link local) IPv6 subnet. Also add the server IP you want advertised in the Local IP address. If you don't have remote access enabled and the Emby server determines the client IP is not local it will refuse the connection. If that doesn't help you can temporarily disable the firewall to make sure that's not causing problems. 1
Solution macone555 2 Posted October 21, 2024 Author Solution Posted October 21, 2024 The problem was in the firewall. Thanks for advice. 1 1
