Watch position not being recorded for Movie (4.8.10.0)

I have a very long movie, it's runtime is 12hr 21m. I had it in a different format broken up into 10 episodes and so am trying to get the watch position to 35:00.

I've tried just playing from the beginning and watching 5 min or so and exiting, as well as skipping to 32:00 and watching before exiting. In both cases, the watch position is not recorded and it is not listed in Continue Watching.

Any idea why that would be? Is there a way to set the watch position manually?

Do you mean it's still in pieces?

Our default minimum resume is 5% I think and 35 minutes of that video is 4.7%...  check the resume settings for the library.

I had started part 1, which is a 1:30 long and got to 0:33. I now have a single movie that is 12hrs long and that’s the one where I have issues. It’s the single one that is not saving the position.

Is there a way to change this? That might work for a normal movie but not for this type. Is it 5% progress for subsequent views or just the first one?

Yes, as I mentioned, check the resume settings in the library setup...

Sorry, I missed that!

I think the percentages for the resume playback and mark as finished would be better as absolute values of time. This example is extreme, but the difference between an hour movie or a 2 hour movie should be the same for both, I would think.

However, I solved my problem, so thank you!
