I have an M3U file I created that has IPTV links I want to use but I want to run them through a Socks5 proxy, I have googled and ChatGPT'ed till I could not search anymore.

Is there a windows app or some other way to do this, chatGPT wanted me to try ffmpeg but that didnt work, it just creates a small ts file.

I guess it does not have to be Socks5 that is just what Nord VPN offers, I am open to anyway to anonymize the connections inside the m3u.

I am willing to make multiple m3u files if needed its only 3 links

Hi @Jrod696

A better method would be to setup your server to run a VPN connection that supports split tunnels.  You then config it to only use the VPN for any domain names used by your m3u provider.

This way the server will pull all video streams using the VPN connection, but all other traffic is done normally.

I've not used Nord VPN, but I'd think they support split tunneling in this fashion.

I was able to find something that works, an application called Proxifier, it can do whole applications or just specific domains, you just setup a rule for the domain and it intercepts it and passes it through the socks proxy. It works very well and was super easy to setup.
