whitemouse 1 Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 Hello, I just reinstalled my emby server under docker with the latest version 4.8.9.0 because I had problems transcoding 4k videos. In my transcoding options on emby I only had the software encoder. I granted the ssh rights for the videodriver group with my emby user. Config ssh Synology DS918+ `crw-rw---- 1 root videodriver 226, 0 card0` `crw-rw-rw- 1 root videodriver 226, 128 renderD128` Added lines in my portainer compose at installation - /dev/dri/renderD128:/dev/dri/renderD128 - /dev/dri/card0:/dev/dri/card0 Emby config Before: Now: I no longer have any problem playing 720p,1080p,4K video from emby on my TV or computer. Transcoding works fine now. ------------------------------------------- But now I have a problem on the IOS application. (I had no problem before reinstalling my emby server) When playing a 720p, 1080p, 4k file. I have this error message I have no log that appears when I launch a video from IOS  For information, no problem to launch a movie in 480p on emby IOS And I tested with the IOS infuse app to play 720p, 1080p, 4k. No problem. The video starts correctly Do you have any idea to help me? If you need more information, please do not hesitate  Thanks in advance  Â
Solution whitemouse 1 Posted September 29, 2024 Author Solution Posted September 29, 2024 I found solution I tested on another iPhone which never had the Emby application installed. and it works. So I reset my iPhone, because uninstalling/installing emby didn't change anything. what a waste of time  you can close my topic 1
