podonnell 47 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 I often put on movies I've already watched in the background, or just to fall asleep, etc.. As expected, they show up on 'continue watching' and remembering where I left off. I don't want to prevent that behavior, because I might be re-watching a title and wanting to remember where it left off. But, I do want to be able to quickly 'reset' the play state. I do not want to mark it as unplayed -- I want to remove it from continue watching and not have it remember where I left off. I do not see any option other than having to click play and then manually rewind or click 'play from beginning' and immediately exiting. What's the quickest way to do this?

seanbuff 1317 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 (edited) Yeah, if I understand correctly - just click the Played/Unplayed "tick" icon to toggle it's state? Edited September 21, 2024 by seanbuff

Negative, I wish for it to retain the 'played' state. I want to know when I've watched a title once, and for that state to never really be forgotten. This is most appropriate when I am watching a title that I've already played in the past, and just wish to reset the progress bar. I just tested, and setting a title to 'unplayed' does reset the play state. So it seems like the fastest way is to set to unplayed and then back to played. Though, I do wish there was a single "reset play state" or similar, which would keep the played/unplayed the way it is, but reset the progress bar of where I left off. seanbuff 1317 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Alternatively, right-click (or long press) on the Continue Watching row and say "Remove from..." Then when you want to watch it again, simply press the 'Play from Beginning' button as you've already pointed out.

Your only option it toggling UnPlayed/Played status as mentioned. 2
