subs not downloading

Hello,

I am new to emby and i like it a lot, the only thing is that i can't get the subs to be downloaded, i have been looking throug the forum and tryed several fixes but without any luck

The manual download is working but the job seems to fail

 

i have tryed

Reinstall the plugin

VIP member on opensubtitles.com

switch IPV6

no firewalls active

the Inotify fix (sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_watches=1048576; sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_instances=4096;)

Plugin is v1.0.59.0

I just found this in the log

2024-09-13 16:00:39.026 Info App: File /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/plugins/OpenSubtitles.dll has version 1.0.59.0
2024-09-13 16:00:39.064 Info App: File /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system/plugins/OpenSubtitles.dll has version 1.0.54.0

two diffrent versions of the pluging, is that normal? or can that be the problem?

Yes that is normal as /system/plugins are with the install/upgrades and pushed to /var/plugins on startup.  And plugin updates update /var/plugins location.

As for subs it appears to do NL hashmatch for lots of content.  Maybe no hashmatches?

Not sure if debug logging will show more info.  But dev may have to comment further.

How can you activate debug logging? i couldn't find it.

The problem is solved, i think i accidently revoved the language from the settings under the library

That and removing the hash solved the issue

This would cause it to download less. It was the hash setting that made the difference.
